Name of Deceased : Bernard (Bernie) Wagner
Affiliation with School : Grad 1956 Teacher, School Administrator
Years of Association : 1962 - 1993
Bernie Wagner, age 66, passed away May 5, 2003 in Soldiers\' Memorial Hospital, Middleton.
Bernie was a Teacher, Vice-Principal, Principal during his years at M.R.H.S. After retiring, he enjoyed down hill skiing, golfing, camping and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Muir), sons Stephen (Sally), Brian(Eleanor), Greg (Terri), four grandchildren and two step grandchildren. We will always miss you!

Name of Deceased : Gwenythe(Joyce) Oliver
Affiliation with School : Grad.1952
Years of Association : 3 yrs
'Gwennie" passed away in Wasaga Beach Ont. on January26th.2009 following a short but bravely fought battle with Cancer. She is survived by her husband 'Gord' Oliver,sons Graham and Gregg,daughter Gayle Anne,six Grandchildren,one greatgrandchild.
She was loved by all who knew her.Her onderful smile and giggle immediately come to mind when her name is mentioned. Valley friends were fortunate to see her several times during a year as she made frequent visits to be with her mother Grace Annis.
An award was given to a graduating student in the class of 2009 donated by old school chums to honor Gwennie's memory. She is missed!

Name of Deceased : Theodore (Ted) Noble

NOBLE, Theodore “Ted” Avard – 65, Harrietsfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 1, 2010 in the QEII Health Sciences Center. Born on December 18, 1944 in Torbrook Mines, Annapolis County, he was a son of the late Homer and Vera (Wallace) Noble.

Ted owned and operated Noble’s Appliance Repair for 33 years; he was also a past member of the Harrietsfield / Sambro Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.

He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by his wife, Diane (Beals); son, Scott; daughter, Paula (Duncan) MacAuley; brothers, Malcolm (Anne), Richard, Homer and Brian (Liz); sisters, Rev. Joy Noble; Sara (Jeff) Rogers and Shari (Allen) Wentworth; several nieces and nephews.

Name of Deceased : Nita Irvine
Affiliation with School : Teacher
Years of Association : 1968-1985
Nita taught in Middleton for a number of years and will be rembered by many of her past students for the lively discussions that took place in her class. Sadly Nita passed in November 2008 but she always had fond memories of the last reunion she attended. She was a great teacher, friend, and mom and will be missed but not forgotten.

Name of Deceased : Foster Bent
Affiliation with School : 1957 class
Years of Association : 6 years
Foster died on Dec.22nd.,2005 in Paradise.Foster was very active in school during his Junior and Senior years at M.R.H.S. He was in the cadet band for four years along with being on the boys volleyball team,senior choral group, junior and senior student council,yearbook staff,drama group,senior N.C.O.'s,and cadets for four years. Foster often drove us to Bridgetown Teen Town for the Friday night dances plus trips to Margaretsville for ice cream and some class parties. He went on to Acadia and received his BSc. and his BEd. He spent several years in Montreal and then came back to N.S. and worked at the Greenwood Armed Forces and retired from there in 2004. He is survived by his three children and his two brothers. Foster was a very large part of our high school years.

Name of Deceased : Carole Eaton Paster

Years of Association : 6 years
Carole passed away on Oct. 2007 in Mahone Bay where she has resided for 9 years. Carole attended Acadia University for a year and then went into the V.G.school of Nursing for three years and graduated in Jan. of 1963. She met her husband Robert Paster from the U.S.A. and they moved to California for many years. She is survived by her children Erin and Michael ,both in California.Her husband Robert died in the late 80\\\'s. Carole decided to move back to Nova Scotia and loved her years back in Mahone Bay. She was a good school mate and a great nursing classmate.

Robert Gordon Banks, Age 66, Passed away Feb. 12, 2008 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton. Bob's life was focused around music as well as helping inspire other people to enrich their lives in various ways.He travelled to numerous communities playingwith
musical groups. In earlier years Bob was employed with and later owned and operated Middleton Dry Cleaners and Launderers.Survived by wife Pat Hardwick; daughter Gisele(Jerry) MacDonald, Amherst;grandchildren, Samantha and Raymond and their father, Richard Banks,North Williamston.

Name of Deceased : ROY FRANCIS MOSHER DOWELL
Affiliation with School : Student
Years of Association : 1949-1951
Roy passed away in Selkirk Manitoba on December 28 2009. He attended the 50th reunion and was looking forward to the 2010 reunion and seeing old friends. Roy\'s wife Anne passed away earlier in 2009. He is survived by his son Paul and his daughter Carol.
Roy enjoyed sports and was inducted in the Middleton Wall of Fame for baseball.

For anyone who knew Roy, you probably have a story or two to tell.
