Middleton Regional High School 60th Reunion

MRHS Reunion Bursaries

Each year since the 40th MRHS Reunion in 1990, two deserving students graduating from MRHS, one male and one female, have been selected by a committee of teachers to receive a bursary to be used for post secondary education. The money provided during the past 18 years has come out of interest earned on previous reunion profits in 1990 and 2000.

Current interest rates are very low and as a result the potential bursaries based on interest income alone are inadequate for today’s student needs. Consequently, the 60th Reunion Committee decided to set the bursary for each student at $500.00. The committee recognizes that this level of payment will eventually deplete the fund over time unless new revenue is generated.

We are asking you to help us maintain these bursaries, by donating directly to the Bursary Fund.

You will receive a charitable donation tax receipt from the School Board for your donation.  

You can make your donation as follows:  

1. Write a cheque for the amount you wish to donate to the “Annapolis Valley Regional School Board” with a note on the memo line “MRHS Reunion Bursary Fund”.

 2  Include your return mailing address.

3   Mail your cheque to:

 The Reunion Committee will ensure that your donation is received by the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board.
